Vehicle Design Safety Certificate confirms that the vehicle complies with the requirements of the Customs Union Technical Regulation 018/2011 ‘’On the safety of wheeled vehicles’’. It applies to single-piece production vehicles, and in the case of planned mass production, it is necessary to obtain VTA.

This document can only be issued by an accredited certification body, such as a testing laboratory. If necessary, the vehicle undergoes testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. VDSC includes the vehicle's weight and dimensions, technical chassis specifications (engine, transmission, suspension) and information about the manufacturer.
